It should be possible to pre-segmentate Word-files with Trados, so one could use other tools for translation but getting Trados-compatible segments. How is the segmentation accomplished? I have 7.0 and 6.5 versions.

Hi Heinrich,

this is very simple:

Create a new TM or open one already available and presegment with

Tools > Translate
with the following settings:

100% or higher match value,
Segment unknown sentences selected
Don't update changed translations
Don't translate terms

And away you go.
