Dear colleagues,

I have a new client (an agency) who wants me to do all work for him in Trados. The reason for this is that he wants to build up a big TM and he wants the translators who work for him to be able to swap their terminology.

However, I would prefer to continue to work with DVX because I have got extremely used to it.

Many thanks in advance for your help!

If the client only wants the TM... Mar 17, 2004

You can create a second (blank) TM for the client and list it as the second MDB in the project properties. When the translation is finished/corrected, export this TM as a Trados WB file (one of the export options). The client can then import it into his master Trados TM (make sure you're both using the *exact* same language codes and links (for example DE-DE *or* DE_DE). The client can then send you his TM, and you need only import it into the DVX TM of your choosing.
