Trouble getting Trados Freelance 6.5 going

I carried out the instructions for installing Trados given in its manual as best I could and the Trados icons did indeed appear in my Microsoft Word. Nonetheless, when I click Start>Programs, Trados does not appear so I cannot launch the Workbench.
My impression is that it's not really "there." What yet lack I?

Win2k/XP shows shortened start menu, when not all programs are in regular use.
On top, newly installed programs are not automatically set in alphabetical order.
Please specify your OS, and refer to the help of your OS, how to add symbols (shortcuts) to desktop or your programm list.
