Translating an annex

I am currently translating an academic research paper on pronunciation of certain words in Andalusian Spanish.

At the end of the article, there is an appendix which has the text that the participants of the study had to read aloud. Should I translate this text?
There is also a list of ‘keywords’ that are the focus of the research i.e. words in the text that they will focus on. Do I need to translate these words too?

This article will mostly be read by people who have some knowledge of the Spanish language I imagine as it is so specialised, but the fact that it is even being translated in the first place means that they expect linguists from all over to be reading this, including ones who have no knowledge of the Spanish language.

You should ask your client. What did he/she require you to do?

As your profile says you have 2 years of experience, I do hope you haven’t been a victim of a scam. How many words has this project?

If I may answer by asking another question : why are you asking this here and not to your client ? He/she should have all the answers you need.

Translating the text to be read out would be pointless, but the keywords may need to be translated.
