Obviously important words were 'corona', 'pandemic' and 'Covid-19' this year, and all kinds of combinations. It turned up in my translations a few times, normally with 'measures', but as a teleworker I didn't have much problems with the situation. How this particular translator "adapted" was to keep translating, and feel fortunate that it's a job that might have had some lean months but never disappeared. In only did one translation had had to do with this year's situation. Of course, a pedant might argue that the most used word of 2020 was “the”, but I’m too proud to stoop that low.
