Hi there...
This is more of a suggestion for improvement, but would like to hear other opinions too...
As you probably all know sometimes (!#") a translator is under time-pressure and will have to make a quick decision.

Kudos points could be awarded for adding translations of such terms and gradually we can build a better dictionary/lookup function...
It could be combined with another one - maybe a bit easier to implement. Very often we don't find an answer using "term search" options but as it is our job to find it, shortly afterwards we find something. It would be great if the platform would convert a search with no results into a glossary entry, where it would be sufficient to add translation and click "save" to create a new entry.

That's a brilliant idea

Both Frank's and Stanislaw's. I had never thought about this but of course it would be fantastic if both of these suggestions were implemented.

Would it be an idea to add a quick link to unanswered questions as well? I see there are a couple today in the language pairs I track, which nobody seems able to answer. It is no help to the original asker weeks after the deadline, but these things do come up a... See more

Give the whole setup a prominent position on the homepage, and it would be a great place to look at in coffee breaks... ▲ Collapse
