Hello. From an article about the benfits of stength training for older people:
"Los ejercicios con resistencias para las personas mayores aportan todos los beneficios de un menor riesgo de enfermedades cardiovasculares y de diabetes..."
and
"Los hombres y las mujeres que no realizan regularmente entrenamiento con resistencias (por ejemplo en la sala de Fitness o en clase de Bodypump), acusan atrofia progresiva a lo largo del proceso de envejecimiento."

Ojo, "resistance exercices" sería "ejercicios de resistencia" y en el texto se dice ejercicios CON resistenciaS, con lo que se refiere a ejercicios en los cuales se emplean pesos o pesas.

Resistance exercise training sounds a little bit redundant to me. A more natural way to say it might just be simply "resistance training."
