English term

tear-down-the walls version

This collection features Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company as well as live with the Kozmic Blues Band. There's also a *tear-down-the walls *version of Etta James's "Tell Mama" with Full Tilt Boogie, recorded live in Toronto.

尚、これは元々Joshua fit the battle of Jericho and the walls came tumbling downから由来しているのでしょう。
Peer comment(s):

agree KathyT : Not 100% convinced of the Jericho connection (although possible, I guess ;-) ) but I like 強烈.

The Jericho just occurred to me as a possibility. But it's definitely about a tear it up performance. thank you.
agree RieM : This Janis Joplin, and that means power! She has a song saying "the sky is tumbling down.... "
