Bio

At present, I contract my language services to four different agencies, including some of the market leaders. My qualifications include Master of International Relations (La Trobe, AUS), Master of Management with Distinction (Massey, NZL), Bachelor Pharmacy (Otago, NZL), and two certificates in the Maori language. I have completed the pre-requisite short course to gain NAATI (Australia) translator certifications. I am a NAATI Recognised Practising Translator (English into Maori). I also have pending applications for NAATI translator certifications in other pairs.  Later on, I will be seeking NAATI interpreter certifications as well.

In 2020, I have translated several large Management and Public Relations documents (EN >FR and FR >EN) for a West African regional NGO, as part of their Covid-19 response project. I have been providing pro bono translation and revision services (EN > FR and EN > Burmese (MY) ) to NGOs and UN entities through the web platform of Translators Without Borders (TWB).

In interpreting, I am most familiar with community services, medical/healthcare and public administration domains. Through an agency, I provide interpreting services to various Victoria State (AUS) government departments. In 2014 - 2016, translation/interpreting had been among my many duties at government and civil society organisations at which I worked, too.

I'd like to meet new clients/outsourcers, both direct and through language service providers. I will consider requests for collaboration, too.
