I have another term that I can't seem to find anywhere. I understand it as the expansion of the tooth socket and separation of the tooth from the ligament, but I don't know what the formal name for it is in English.

Context: Una vez practicada la anestesia de la zona (peripical en maxilar superior y bloqueo nervioso en la mandíbula), se realizará una extracción simple (sindesmotomia, luxación del diente mediante botador, y se aplicará presión, luxación, tracción y avulsión con el fórceps idóneo, si es preciso).
