Fig. 3. En la vista posteroanterior de mandíbula se observan múltiples imágenes radiopacas pequeñas, de forma redondeadas, compatibles con perdigones, dispersos con mayor concentración al nivel de la rama ascendente izquierda. Se constata pérdida de continuidad ósea al nivel subcondilar, compatible con línea de fractura, y pequeños fragmentos óseos dispersos en el área.
Conducta: bajo anestesia general se realiza exploración, toilette, eliminación de algunos fragmentos óseos pequeños, así como perdigones. Se suturan las heridas intra y extrabucal, se colocan botones de fijación dentarios y se realiza fijación intermaxilar elástica. Tratamiento farmacológico con antibióticos, vitaminas, antiinflamatorios no esteroideos, termoterapia fría y curas locales diarias.
