Se trata del programa de la asignatura de econometría. Uno de los puntos es:

- Normalidad y ***media nula*** de las perturbaciones. El histograma y el contraste de normalidad de Jarque y Bera.

Encuentro el término null hypothesis, pero en español existen media nula e hipótesis nula, y no sé si son cosas distintas. Es para Reino Unido.

As Billh says "null mean" and "zero mean" are very different things. Here, we're working in the context of the Jarque-Bera Test http://davegiles.blogspot.fr/2014/02/some-things-you-should-...

This tests the null hypothesis that the errors are normally distributed using a JB statistic and we reject the hypothesis for sufficiently large values of JB.

For a Normal, the Jarque-Bera = 0.

There is no null statistic involved here.

agree Thomas Walker : Zero mean is correct. This refers to probability distributions like the so-called "bell curve," which is symmetric about the mean (usually designated by the Greek letter mu).
