Gray directors/Board Members are "family members of insiders,
attorneys whose firms represent the firm, investment or commercial bankers whose firms have relationships with the firm, consultants to the firm and directors who personally or through their employers have substantial business dealings with the firm".

Sometimes nominee/interested/other is used.
