Agent of the Public Prosecutor's Office for this District

además de que el Agente del Ministerio Público de la Adscripción se notificó conforme con el contenido de dicho Convenio = and also the Agent of the Public Prosecutor's Office for this District gave notice that he agreed with the contents of said Agreement

Of course one could just say "the Prosecutor" or "District Attorney" to use US terminology, but in my own work I prefer to use more literal renditions of Mexican terminology. This is Mexican of course, which is part of the CONTEXT.

En México por ley, le corresponde al Ministerio Público intervenir en causas que tienen que ver con la custodia de menores. En general es una mera formalidad; con frecuencia ni responde.

agree Carrie Comer : exactly.

Gracias, Comer.
agree AllegroTrans : yes indeed, and is it not possible that the Prosecutor employed an agent (i.e. someone from a law firm)?

Gracias, Allegro. No, not possible, I know the system very well. The "Agente" is one of the prosecutors at the Attorney General's office (Procuraduría Gral. de Justicia).
