Traditional dress of Punjabis, Gujarathis or for that matter Northern India.

Salwar Kameez is the traditional dress of the ladies in Northern India such as Gujarat, Punjab and other states.
It consists of a loose pant having an embroidered border. The top is usually a long dress like pattern which is slit on the sides.

Salwar is a kind of trousers worn by women in India, specially in the Punjab. And kameez is a kind of long shirt worn with the salwar.
Example sentence:
