I'm not able to come up with a Japanese term right now, but a level is like a floor, but usually used in stadiums (such as for sports). The C level is probably after the A and B levels.

ロビー階の下のC階 / ロビー階の下[の]Cレベル

As Can says, no direct Japanese ref. sources can be found... But the basic idea seems to be one (floor) level below the lobby of the opera house.

neutral KathyT : Trouble is that every building can have diff. naming standards for their floors. Level "B" usually = Basement and t/f 地下, but I don't think it could definitively be said that Level C was 地下 without further hints from the text (or actually going th

Thanks Kathy, I see your point. Couldn't confirm that the examples I found have to do with opera house, etc., anyways. But it's not the "1st floor" for sure (can be confirmed). Cheers
