I choose this because I don't believe a good expression (or at least a natural-sounding expression) for 'throw your chest out with pride' or 'burst with pride' really exists in Japanese. This would get the meaning across.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Kurt Hammond : Not sure but seems this answer loses some of the English meaning.

胸を張って(誇りを持って)言える

"And of course I am Grandma, which makes me throw my chest out with pride."

もちろん、私は祖母(おばあちゃん)と胸を張って、誇りを持って言える。

It's kinda strange English, and I'm not sure that the Japanese is any clearer.
Peer comment(s):

agree Kurt Hammond : This sounds to be perfectly natural in Japanese.
