Mikito-san should place his answer so it can be evaluated. "North of" means �`�̖k��, literally, but here, it is being used to mean "more than". It is an expression, as Mikito-san said. It is not a typo.

... I believe you wish to find out what they mean by "at a frequency north of"? It's just a way of expression; it means the memory can run above 1ghz.
