Edge Arrising
Edge Arrising is just taking the sharpness off the edge of the glass. It does not give it a smooth clean finish.
It makes the glass easier to handle as it removes the risk of cutting yourself.
Toughened glass comes arrised as standard.
On a glass shelf which is being put into a cabinet, some people have the front, exposed edge polished and the hidden edges arrised.
We have examples of Arrising in comparison to polishing in our shop.#
The time scale on arrising is 2 - 5 days.
