Make certain the base of the O-ring groove is not damaged during disassembly. It may be useful to remove the O-rings using a sturdy needle.
- A special clamp wrench (Part No. 31617) or ***face pin wrench*** (pin ø 3 mm and 4 mm) must be used to remove the diaphragm. The diaphragm must always be replaced.
- The diaphragm plate is now fully disassembled. All parts must be cleaned and dried.
- Plastic parts must not be brittle or have bubble formations.

Spanners and wrenches are in the same family....There were many websites with different types of ピンスパナ but I came upon the above technical term website.

I see that chose Yasutomo-san's answer.
However, I just wanted to let you know that a "かに目レンチ" is not a "face pin spanner."
A "かに目レンチ" has a very different shape (like a crab's eyes) and is often called a "lens spanner" in English.
A face pin wrench/face pin spanner in Japanese is フェースピンスパナ.
