: Fondan je ticino smjesa, nešto poput marcipana, a i u Wikipediji piše "Fudge is a drier variant of fondant." Ako se progooglaju slike fudge-a i fondanta vidi se da to nije ista stvar.

: definitivno nije fondan jer fondan je ticino smjesa koja se pravi od šećera u prahu, vode i dodataka za zgušnjavanje te se koristi za ukrašavanje torti i kolača dok je fudge slastica za sebe, tj ne koristi se za ukrašavanje a i sastav mu je drukčiji

: pa nije baš ni mliječna krema jer ponekad se umjesto mlijeka pravi od vrhnja ili maslaca... uglavnom, u konačnici to liči na križanac rahat lokuma i karamele i zaseban je slatkiš koji se ne koristi za ukrašavanje niti kao krema

možda da se ipak složimo s kolegom Tomislavom :D
prvo, ovo je industrijski proizvod, a ne domaći fudge, prema tome nije "kolač" svakako
drugo, nije sličan browniesima ili šnitama jer bih rekla da se ne peče? Već se samo povežu sastojci i napravi masa koja se poslije stvrdne na zraku. Onak kako mi pravimo *domaće* bajadere.
pa da.. mislim da ima karamela, onda bombonske mase, i slično.. uglavnom se industrijski pakuje kao bombona ili bombonjera - najbliže nekim našim ekvivalentima.
Uglavnom je neka bombona LOL
"toffee" je na eng. definitivno karamela. Na poljskom može biti nešto drugo.
A vidite u onoj referenci što sam stavila "endless variations", tako da u biti morate znate što taj vaš proizvod točno sadrži, pa onda vidjet iz toga koji je kod nas pandan.
Mislim da je to u široj skupini "bombonjera"....
