As indicated in the acronym, an EPIC contractor s work includes the engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Ideally, EPIC contracts are used when the conceptual study and project definition are completed but work is not designed completely. The contractor provides a lump-sum amount necessary to perform the work scope.

Možda bi se moglo napisati i "EPIC izvođač", a u zagradi (ili fusnoti) dati (reč po reč) prevod za EPIC: engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Mislim da bi nekakav prevod samo skraćenice bio besmislen. Sve zavisi od vrste teksta, nadam se da ćete naći neko rešenje.
