Доколкото успях да се ориентирам big block не е тип двигател, а модел или серия двигатели на "Шевролет". Но не съм сигурна.
Що се отнася до 505 обаче нищо не успях да открия.
Въпросният двигател е използван за създаванетон а шосейна (или по-скоро пистова) версия на легендарния, според създателите му, модел Twin Mill/Twinmill от серията коли играчки на Mattel Hot Wheels.
Нищо повече не успях да разбера.

The old Viper\'s 450-horsepower, 488-cubic inch (8.0-liter) V-10 was just too flaccid for its successor, so the displacement is up to 505 cubic inches (8.3 liters) and there are now 500 horsepower available.
