How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Wie berechnet man die Volatilität?

Die Formel für die Berechnung lautet: Die Wurzel aus: (1/n)*((a-i)²+(b-i)²). Die Variable n sind die Anzahl der enthaltenen Kurswerte innerhalb des betrachteten Zeitraumes. Das i ist der Durchschnittswert und a und b die Kurswerte.
Wird die Wurzel nicht gezogen, erhält man die Varianz. Varianz und Volatilität sind somit zwei eng verwandte Kennzahlen. Tabellenkalkulationsprogramme wie Excel oder Google Sheets bieten spezielle Formeln, mit denen die Volatilität direkt aus einer Zeitreihe herausgerechnet werden kann.
Um die Intensität der Kursschwankungen zu messen, muss zwangsläufig eine Entscheidung getroffen werden über die Länge des Zeitraumes, der als Grundlage zur Ermittlung dient. Die Anzahl der Merkmale in der Formel (hier: „Wert“) sowie „n“ geben hierbei an, wie viele Merkmale (bspw. Aktienrenditen) berücksichtigt werden sollen und somit implizit den Zeitraum.
