English term

multiplex single-base primer extension

English to Spanish Medical Genetics
This is from a text on cancer genome. I've "minisecuenciación múltiple" as a possible equivalent, but I'm not quite sure.

"Both assays rely upon multiple PCR (polymerase chain reaction) steps to amplify DNA regions of interest and multiplex single-base primer extension with dideoxynucleotides. Extension products are then analyzed either by mass spectrometry , which can distinguish different bases according to their mass-to-charge (m/z) ratio (Sequenom Mass Spectrometry system) ..."

I'd really appreciate any help you can provide.

FWIW "amplificación multiplex" in the answer from David, which is extremely similar to the one I gave much earlier (where's the difference?), is LESS COMMON than the expression "amplificación multiple" given in my suggestion (posted 4 days earlier).

I give the same answer 4 days earlier, with a more common term ("multiple" as opposed to "multiplex"), a real reference that actually opens and that's the thanks I get.
