Goodness me, Chance, Jaroslaw is not a student! and he likes Wong Kar-Wai. Nice. I don't know how much you know about the Chinese Forum Jaroslaw, but we have a nice film thread.

Hello Everyone

Well, I don't know about you all, but I for one found it patronising.

patronise = to treat kindly but as an inferior (Collins Concise English Dictionary)

patronise = (disapproving) to speak to or behave towards someone as if they are stupid or unimportant eg Stop patronising me - I understand the play as well as you do. patronising eg It's that patronising tone of hers that I can't bear. (Cambridge Advanced English Dictionary)

Partnerizing Apr 7, 2008

Hi lai an,

I guess I understand what you mean now.

How about "partnerizing"? Would it be all right to partnerize someone?

No, I'm not interested in partnerships. I just interact with whoever.
