Description Abre tu mundo a una nueva profesión como teleintérprete. Esta sesión de 90 minutos te explicará el mercado de la interpretación telefónica, que se calcula en unos 600 millones de dólares en los Estados Unidos y unos 400 millones de dólares en el resto del mundo. Si hablas dos (o más) idiomas CON FLUIDEZ, te puedes convertir en teleintérprete. Los participantes adquirirán un conocimiento acerca de la interpretación a través de líneas telefónicas, así como las destrezas y herramientas necesarias para colocarse a la vanguardia de esta nueva profesión. La interpretación telefónica está reemplazando rápidamente la interpretación en persona para facilitar la comunicación entre los médicos y sus pacientes, los centros de llamadas y sus clientes, las compañías de tarjetas de crédito y sus usuarios, las aseguradoras y sus asegurados, los inversionistas y sus socios en el exterior, las personas que utilizan las redes sociales en todo el mundo, e incluso el público en general y las agencias del gobierno, incluyendo los tribunales de justicia (en los Estados Unidos). Target audience Las personas que apenas incursionan en la industria de la traducción. Los traductores con experiencia que deseen convertirse en intérpretes de tiempo completo o medio tiempo. Learning objectives Este curso es el primer paso para entender qué es la interpretación telefónica, cómo funciona, qué requisitos tiene, y qué se puede esperar en términos de ingresos. Está diseñado para quienes desconocen el concepto de teleinterpretación. Al final de este curso, los asistentes podrán decidir si la interpretación telefónica es o no una profesión de su interés y, de ser así, tendrán una lista de acciones a seguir que les ayude a prepararse para este nuevo reto. How do I access the online platform? 72 hours before the webinar takes place, you will receive an invitation to join the session. Please, click the registration link or button provided in the invitation email and complete the registration form. Important: Those that purchase a seat in advance may be able to pay an "early bird" or cheaper price, and those that confirm participation later or last minute, may likely get to pay a higher fee. In some training sessions a price increase based on the number of registrants may also apply, i.e. the first 15 registered pay one price, the next 10 pay a a slightly higher price etc. Early payment is advised in order to secure participation and help reach the course minimum participation - unfortunately, courses may occasionally be cancelled or rescheduled, if the confirmed participation in advance is very low.
