English term
halfway house
English to Hungarian
Other
Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc.
Ez az eredeti mondat:
"When musically-talented car thief Wesley Benfield is arrested for violating his parole and sent to a halfway house in the middle of America's Bible belt, he is talent-spotted by the eccentric zealot Ned Sears."
Itt meg a 'halfway house' definíciója:
In the United States, a halfway house is a residential center where drug users, sex offenders, the mentally ill, or convicted felons are placed immediately after their release from a primary institution such as a prison, hospital or rehabilitation facility. The purpose of a halfway house is to allow the persons to begin the process of reintegration with society, while still providing monitoring and support; this is generally believed to reduce the risk of recidivism or relapse when compared to a release directly into society.

Discussion
A Glossary Building kérdésekre sem tudok válaszolni.
Ami a Wikit illeti, nincs egészen igazuk, pl.:
"The Halfway House is conveniently located in the centre of London and offers separate accommodation facilities for both men and women. The Halfway House caters for people suffering from all addictions."
Úgy látszik, M.o.-on nincs ehhez hasonló, ezért problematilus nevet találni rá. Az átmeneti szálló valóban nem lenne jó.
Talán ha tovább nézed a filmet, eszedbe jut valami jobb kifejezés.
Átmeneti otthon?
