Black liquor is a byproduct of the kraft process, (also known as kraft pulping or sulfate process) during the production of paper pulp. Wood is decomposed into cellulose fibers (from which paper is made), hemicellulose and lignin fragments. Black liquor is an aqueous solution of lignin residues, hemicellulose, and the inorganic chemicals used in the process.

| Manuel, creo que la palabra "tratamiento" tiene varias alternativas de significado y sin saber de qué se trata la materia legislativa que estás traduciendo va a ser difícil que te demos una buena solución. 1) si tiene que ver con el aspecto técnico de cómo se procesa la transferencia de datos (protocolos de transferencia como alguien por ahí dijo), entonces pondría "processing". 2) si se trata del proceso administrativo (y no tecnológico) de la transferencia de datos, probablemente sugeriría "handling". 3) si se trata de cómo se definen distintos tipos de transferencia de datos, quizás mejor "treatment" o incluso "approach" si es en cuanto causan alguna reacción (por ejemplo, la definición de distintos requisitos, como sugiere el final de la frase). |
