If you are talking about only what is said to the patient I think "verbal stimuli" or maybe "questioning". If the response is important I would use "response to verbal stimuli" or "response to questioning."

: Yeah, I like this one. Based on what is written above, it seems to be simply a question of a care giver (a doctor) asking questions of the patient. As such, "questioning" seems to fit the bill.

"呼びかけ" as a noun is quite challenging--as a verb I would say that "call out" is okay, but in this situation, literal translations leave something to be desired.
Essentially, the point here is to elicit a response from the patient through verbal means, so "verbal elicitation" fits nicely for me.
