I am working with .po files, for it I started using Poedit and after a while Virtaal which think its better.
But every .po editors i found have the same problem, feel like wasting my time because the software has not a good translation memory and mainly because I cannot COPY selecting many sentences at the same time.
Does anybody knows if is possible to somehow convert these files into efficient text files so can make the job little faster?

Thanks!
Andre

Okapi Rainbow Feb 25, 2012

Use Okapi Rainbow - you can prepare a translation package with xliff files (which are handled by most CATs). It takes a while to get a hang of it, but once you do, you can automate things very easily.

You can also use Rainbow to just copy the source to target and then use CAT regex filter (e.g. in MemoQ) to handle .po files directly.
