翻訳 - 英語 Anime-Faced Alien “Speaks”
Anigao Shizuka tells why she came to Earth
What keeps the blood pumping through the Akihabara live music scene? Put simply - idols. Recently, the various idol genres have begun to fragment even further, and the market has been flooded with pin-up girl and even variety show themed idols. But among these, an even more amazingly conspicuous idol has emerged on the scene: the Alien Idol Shizuka Anigao. A mysterious life form with an anime-head and human body, she comes from the Planet Anigao, meaning “anime-face.” As an alien, it's quite difficult for Shizuka to articulate herself properly, but since she has no problem communicating in writing, Akiba Today conducted the following interview via an instant messaging client. In this first-time chat interview, we asked Miss Anigao more about her goals, home planet, and private life to get a better understanding of this amazing new star.
Coming to Earth as an Ambassador of Friendship
-So, Shizuka, you're an alien from Planet Anikao. Could you please tell us, what kind people are the Anikao-lings?
I think they're not much different from the people of Earth? Well, maybe a teeny-weeny bit different...
-What's different about them?
Maybe their faces are a little bit different. By the way, you know Ani-kao (anime-face) is the name of the planet, right?:)
-So, Shizuka, why did you come to Earth?
I told the king, “I'm going to the Earth to deepen our friendship!” So, I came to the Earth to deepen the friendship between the Earth and Planet Anikao. Imma Friendship Ambassador!
-What did you do back when you were on Planet Anikao?
I went to the Anikao Kingdom Girls Academy - I graduated the same time I was appointed Friendship Ambassador :)
-What was the biggest culture shock for you coming to Earth?
There aren't so many meadows here...
-Are there a lot of meadows on Planet Anikao?
You bet!
-Is the food there different from that on Earth?
They're the same! But, I think Earth strawberries are sweeter!
-Is life on Earth fun?
It's lotsa fun! :)
Secretly Shopping with an Anti-Barrier
-Next, we'd like to ask you a bit about your personal life. So, Shizuka, when you're putting on your make-up, what area do you focus on the most?
I'm still not 18, so I try to go for the natural look, but I focus most on my eyes. An idol's eyes are her life :) Recently I've been into this new mascara that comes off with hot water! It's soooo convenient :)
I'm a translator who has lived in Japan for over 8 years. With a diverse range of interests and superior researching skills, I can fit the needs of nearly any project.
