Ho fatto la scelta giusta ma pare non basti per riavere indietro la mia vita. Sono costretta a rimanere nascosta, nell’anonimato, come se fossi io ad aver fatto qualcosa di male.
Ho cambiato città, casa, indirizzo email, cancellato i miei profili sui social network. Devo fare attenzione alle informazioni su di me che circolano nel web, a volte collegate al lavoro, alle mie denunce pubbliche su quello che ho vissuto. Allora ogni tanto metto il mio nome su Google e controllo che niente lo possa portare a me. Anche comprarmi una casa potrebbe essere rischioso, ho scoperto che al catasto basta lasciare il proprio codice fiscale per avere informazioni sulla proprietà delle case.
Vivo appesa, in attesa della giustizia che chissà quando arriverà e chissà se arriverà, nella triste consapevolezza di quante donne muoiono in quel lasso di tempo interminabile tra la denuncia e la conclusione del processo. Nel mezzo c’è solo un foglio di via, che lo costringe in teoria a star lontano dal comune dove vivevamo insieme ma dove io non posso più vivere. Cosa accadrebbe se violasse il divieto e sapesse esattamente dove trovarmi? Magari di notte? Il comune di San Benedetto Val di Sambro si estende per circa 40 chilometri. Se la pattuglia in servizio fosse dalla parte opposta ci metterebbe più di mezz’ora ad arrivare. E nel frattempo? Cosa accadrebbe?
Per questo sono stata costretta a trasferirmi: destinazione segreta.
Ogni volta che leggo una notizia di una donna morta ammazzata dal partner o dall’ex mi si stringe la gola. Divento di pietra. So bene

attraverso quali meccanismi perversi, quali angosce, quale dolore sono passate quelle donne prima di subire il gesto estremo. Mi tocco la faccia per assicurarmi di essere ancora viva. Sono fortunata. Poi mi chiedo per quanto riuscirò a sfuggirgli. Per quanto dovrò ancora avere paura che mi uccida, come ha più volte promesso di fare.

If you are reading this, you probably want to find the perfect translator for your project. So here I am. I am a passionate, curious, and quick learner freelancer who takes distance from average views and routes in translating as much as in life. That's why my approach to translation techniques is as much linguistic as human. I had the chance to live my projects and feel them as my creation; so that, when I translate the text, I feel like I am re-writing it. That's how I was taught to work, and I internalized the lesson. Of course, this works for Art&Literature, but it can be true for any text, even medical and engineering translations, if passion is your main inspiring path.
