A break? Feb 5

I must admit I don't really understand the question and especially the answer that it would give me a break from translation. How exactly would I be taking a break from translation by translating?
Other than that, audio-visual translation appears to be equally unrewarding and badly paid as literary translation, the results of which are CLEARLY audible in the shabby translations that are being used for German dubs of films and series. Other than that, audio-visual translation appears to be equally unrewarding and badly paid as literary translation, the results of which are CLEARLY audible in the shabby translations that are being used for German dubs of films and series. There used to be some EXTREMELY well-translated films between the 70s and 90s, but today I pretty much end up sitting on the couch boiling with anger over all the mistranslations I HEAR.

On a side note, I apologize for the typos I may produce in the near future. I switched from gaming keyboards to a Cherry Stream after 12-ish years and I'm noticing that fat-finger syndrome is a very real problem.
