Norwegian term

underpunkt

Norwegian to English Tech/Engineering Science (general) wind load testing
This refers to a large scientific/mathematical equation used in calculating wind speeds, etc. I assume an 'underpunkt' is one of the figures/symbols below a line. I know sometimes such things are 'denominators', but do any mathematicians know what it could refer to in a large equation full of Greek symbols, e.g.
qkast(z) = 0.5ñ•v2kast(z) = 0. 5ñ•v2/s(z)[1+2kpIv(z)]•qs(z)?
This example doesn't of course appear properly on this page, and there probably is no 'underpunkt' because I can't type it out properly, but just to give you some idea.
TIA from a definite non-mathematician!
Helen
