Norwegian term

juridisk forsegling

Norwegian to English Tech/Engineering Safety electric supply meters
Hvert målepunkt har mekanismer for å forhindre fysisk inntrengning.
...
Forsegling av målerkabinett **(vanligvis juridisk forsegling)**, terminaldeksel og en modulforsegling (nettselskapets forsegling).
For å åpne måleren må forseglingen brytes, dette kan sees på målepunktet.

I thought this was a simple little text about smart meters, but it is more technical than it looks at first sight.

Juridisk forsegling?
Is this some kind of registered and numbered sealing?

There are of course plenty of encrypted signals and alarms transmitted to the remote system too.

Thanks for any help!

legally-required anti-tamper seal

It's a bit of a mouthful I know. Also called an anti-tamper switch
Example sentence:

The smart meter will also need to ensure tamper proof operation. If the meter is subject to tampering this must be detected and acted upon. The meter should have the ability to safely and securely disconnect the AC supply.
