This is a system used in connection with automised doors, intercom systems, etc. But I cannot find out what it stands for, and it does not seem to be used in English - at least not with the same acronym.

There should be a case here for using it withot knowing exactly what BUS stands for - which I doubt anybody does. CAN BUS, LAN BUS, Hi-speed BUS - none of it is public transport. 'bussystem' gets 300k hits on Google...
