: The word ´client´ is ambiguous in English. In some professions the client is the powerful decision-maker, although this context is closer to the opriginal Latin meaning. Disempowerment says clearly what is meant.

Takk Norskpro. I'm not sure about the rest of the text, but given what the OP posted it seems to address the aspect of inequality (gender inequality perhaps?). I think the term "clientalization" taps into this.
