coarse grandrelle for 粗杢
This is a type of textile, usually referred to something made out of yarn.
「粗」(pronounce “a-la”)means its textile is roughly woven or coarse in touch.
「杢」(pronounce “mo-ku”)means its appearance has a mix of dark and lighter colors intertwined, just like the wood grain.
This 「粗杢」can be used as an adjective for a sweater. The sweater is woven by using the yarn that is made by two (or more) different shade-colors of yarns twisted together into one. Imagine the sweater that looks gray from the distance, but you will find looking closer, it has the two different shades such as dark gray and lighter gray.
I agree with Mr. Miyauchi's translation “coarse grandrelle” for「粗杢」

This one also uses the same expression in the specs table:
http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/smaclo/item/10009033/
The corresponding Japanese page says 撚り杢糸使用.

Twisted-yarn fabrics are naturally lumpy (not smooth).
Does "heather" seem accurate here?
