Good for work or play
I just came across this in a translation myself, and this phrase came to mind as another option. It gets 1 mil. + Google hits when combined with dress OR style. Of course "good for" could also be "suitable for" or "can be used for," for eg.

good for any occasion
On/off comes from "on duty" and "off duty", so literally it would be something like "can be used/worn for work or leisure".
Note from asker:
Thank you for your suggestion, andreass. I do believe it is good for any occasion. |

: Sorry Soonthon, clothes and bags cannot be "active both on on-duty and off-duty", since they are not referred to as people.
