Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Mar 5, 2004:
4G sorry, "4G" here means "4 Gbyte" as written in ">4Gbyte Addressing". This is all about the setting and confirmation of BIOS parameters on the interface.

"Over 4GB"

I've spent more time playing with BIOS settings than actually using the computer.

\"Make sure the \'Over 4GB\' setting is set to \'Enabled.\' If not, change it.\"

Note - if the BIOS is actually in English you may want to include a translator note to ensure the terms match up to what is the actual wording in the BIOS. Otherwise you might have a confusing instruction.

agree Roddy Stegemann : "Over 4GB" setting is good. "Over 4GB" option might also work.

Yes, it would. Thanks.
agree Yuriko Daikoku : Even an end-user like me can understand "Over 4GB" setting sounds natural.
