Again, essentially the same as the other answers, but perhaps better phrased (??). I thought "external growth base" sounded good, but surprisingly, it gets no hits on google, fwiw. Substituting "platform" for "base" does get a few -- more for "external growth platform" than for my suggestion above, but to me that sounds like a physical structure. Hope this helps...

To me, "external growth platform" sounds like a physical structure that has grown onto the outside of something, whereas "platform for external growth" states more clearly that the "platform" is something to facilitate growth -i.e. the metaphorical sense.

ですよね。記号学的なアプローチを試みてみると、海外基盤・海外bodyがすでに存在しているのならば、「growth」は適切ですが、広告・概念的なコンテクストでありましたら、「expansion」のほうは適当であると思っておりますね。merci, caseyさん^^

: I like the buzzword "infrastructure" but even that is too concrete for this context. The "expansive" is redundant and wrong.
