Talkie
Context please. When I was growing up, トーキー was walkie-talkie. Doing a Google search on トーキー, I got other options. I have forgotten that "Talkie" or sound movies, as opposed to silents, was one definition. Given that it's paired with 故障, I suppose it's some sort of device that alerts someone when there's equipment trouble.

While "talkie" is the direct literal translation, 'transceiver' is one of the technologies used to make such a system work. If you don't think talkie is appropriate for your context, consider this.
