Japanese term

聖比留会

Japanese to English Medical Medical (general) part of hospital name
The English title of this hospital seems to be just 'Konan St. Hill Hospital' but I'd like to know what the above means.

医療法人聖比留会厚南セントヒル病院

St. Hill Kai

The above is the Japanese phonetic way of spelling St. Hill. 聖means holy or a saint (usually pronounced sei), and 比留 is read hiru, which is hill, and kai is a group or organization which hospitals belong to.
Peer comment(s):

agree Marcia Nishio : It's "ateji" for hill : hi ru, saint is translated into "sei", kai just refers to hospital (as Y. Kanazawa explains) and doesn't need to be mentionned in english.

Thank you Marcia
neutral Yumico Tanaka (X) : Why Kai was left as is?

会は普通訳さないようです。http://www.aiiku.net/、それとhttp://www.keisei.ne.jp/index_english.htmlを参照してみてください。両方とも違う会ですが、明らかに「会」は訳されず、そのままです。
