TLHIに検索対象のVファイル管理番号が親管理番号として入っている子管理番号を検索します。
1. Search the child managing number (which is actually the V file managing number meant to be searched) inside TLHI that is retained as the parent managing number.
Is this correct? I am not able to analyse this being a slightly complicated one. could someone give me a correct translation?

You can also use main/sub in the case of an 親/子 pair. I suppose Chicken and Egg is a little too far fetched here. (親子丼...)
