Japanese term

フリーズ

Is there such a terms used for acting/actors? This doesn't pertain to "freeze-frame" on picture-taking. It's supposed to be some acting term. Maybe it's a fairly new term? Thank you.

Unfortunately, there isn't, Yasutomo-san. I just know for sure that it has to do with acting/actors.

Any context Joyce-san?

Note from asker:
It doesn't seem to be this freeze, cinefil-san, although it is a phrase used a lot in police-criminal movies. It could be some sort of new Japanese word?

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you, cinefil-san. This would definitely be the logical answer without much other context. I think in my case it was about the character "freezing up" and not being able to continue acting. I wanted to be the one to put you at 2,000 points but, alas, I'm a bit early. :-)"
