赤伝にも種類が有るようですが、要するに「貸し方」に仕分けすることと私は、理解しました。
赤伝 すでに処理済の伝票を取消すために発行される伝票のこと。通常は赤字で記載されるために赤伝という。たとえば、すでに発行された売上伝票を取消す場合には、同じ書式の売上伝票に取消し伝票と同じ内容を赤字で記載する。これにより、すでに発行された売上伝票は、経理処理の上で取消されたことになる。

大阪工場では本社のために現金を支払っている訳であるから、
（借方）本社勘定／（貸方）現金
という伝票が起票される。
一方、本社では大阪工場で従業員から引き去ったお金を納付してもらったということで、
（借方）預り金／（貸方）大阪工場勘定
という伝票が起票される。
通常月はそのまま工場勘定を残して勘定は締め切られて、決算月のみ
（借方）大阪工場勘定／（貸方）本社勘定
という工場間の相殺消去を行うのである。
その際に起票される伝票は借方に工場勘定が計上されるものは「赤伝」といって赤色の伝票を起票する。
一方工場勘定が貸方に計上されるものは「青伝」といって青色の伝票を起票する。
何故色を変えているかというと、誰かに確認した訳ではないが、本当に処理を間違いやすいのである(笑)。
だから色を強いて分けているのだと自分は思っている。

赤伝処理=pronounced as "akaden shori."
赤伝is 赤伝票、which means red voucher, or red invoice.
At credit settlement, if the credit card used is stolen card, the actual holder refuses to pay, then the voucher becomes red voucher.
Either the merchant or the credit company need to take some countermeasures to deal with this unrecovered money, which is called 処理(disposal or write-off.)
