Hi IC, I'll try and soprt out a pic. You guys look like you're on the right track though. The “a coppo” sign is convex and mounted on brackets with the neon light behind it mounted on the wall, as apposed to flat and mounted directly on the wall without a neon tube.

Hiya Jo, I don't suppose you have a piccy of this sign? Could it be shaped like a pantile or be a typo for "coppa" as in box style illuminated sign with cup-type fitting or something...
