PLT

German to English Medical Medical: Cardiology ECG details
The results of an ECG: "VHF, normofrequent, PLT, 75/min, keine ERBS"

Could this be "linkstyp"? But what is the "P"?

Discussion

uyuni Feb 9, 2022:
Fairly convinced that this a typo/OCR or speech recognition error für 'ÜLT'. 'Ü' and 'P' are right next to each other on a German keyboard...
Steffen Walter Feb 9, 2022:
Sure, ... ... that's also a distinct possibility. In the case of sloppy speech, "üLT" could easily be misrecorded as "PLT".
Celia Bodnar (asker) Feb 9, 2022:
Not likely an OCR issue, as the text is otherwise pretty clear. Could be a dictation/voice recording
error?
Steffen Walter Feb 9, 2022:
Could this perhaps be ... ... a scanning/OCR error where the P should actually be a U umlaut (Ü or ü)? This would make much more sense in this context (überdrehter Linkstyp).

is the 75/min in relation to PLT? or is it totally separate, as this would not tie in with left axis deviation, which is measured in degrees.

could P =
physiological?
Note from asker:
Given the comma separation, I don't think the two are related, but I have no idea otherwise.

neutral Steffen Walter : 75/min is the heart rate and appears to be unrelated to PLT. See also the discussion above - this might well be a speech recognition error.
