A légáteresztéses vizsgálat (blower door test) és az enclosure integrity test szinte dettó ugyanaz. Annyi a különbség, hogy míg a blower doornál a zárt helységből távozó levegő óránkénti mennyiségét számítják ki, addig az enclosure testnél a "lyukas" (légáteresztő területek) mennyiségét számítják.

The "enclosure integrity test" involves measuring the total area of the holes in the protected room with a blower door, assuming a worst-case distribution of leaks across the enclosure surface, and computing the worst-case leakage of the fire protection gas mixture through those holes. Enclosure integrity testing uses a Blower Door to measure the total leakage area of rooms protected by fire suppression systems. The measured leakage area from the Blower Door test can then be used to estimate retention times for various clean agent fire extinguishing systems installed in the protected room.
